Wife, Lover Plot Brutal Murder of Man in Parakala; Five Arrested

Hanumakonda District, (PMI) A missing person case in Parakala has turned into a shocking murder investigation, with police arresting five people for allegedly conspiring and executing the brutal killing of a 38-year-old man.

According to police, Madikonda Suman Bharath was reported missing by his father on April 8. A case was registered, and an investigation was launched. During the probe, officials uncovered that Bharath had been murdered in a pre-planned conspiracy involving his wife and her associates.

Police revealed that Bharath’s wife, Lavanya, who married him in 2012 and has two children, had developed an illicit relationship with Immadi Naresh. Bharath was reportedly addicted to alcohol and frequently harassed and assaulted her.

Unable to endure the alleged abuse, Lavanya, along with Naresh and her relative Pendala Raju, conspired to eliminate him. They hired Chiramsetti Venkateswaru for a contract killing, agreeing to pay around ₹5 lakh. The group reportedly arranged ₹4.59 lakh in advance through cash and pledged gold.

On April 3, the victim was lured to Mulugu, where the accused made him consume alcohol before attacking him with a beer bottle. They then poured petrol over his body and set him on fire. Another accused, Bhukya Rakesh, allegedly assisted in the crime and recorded the act on video.

The following day, the conspirators were shown photos and videos of the murder as proof. The remaining payment was handed over, and the accused attempted to destroy evidence by disposing of the remains in a nearby stream.

Based on the confessions and evidence collected, police recovered partially burnt remains, liquor bottles, and other material objects from the crime scene. The accused were arrested, and further investigation is underway.

Police stated that the case, initially treated as a missing persons complaint, has now been solved as a premeditated murder involving a conspiracy and contract killing. (pressmediaofindia.com)
