Hyderabad, April 21 (PMI): TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar today asked the bus conductors of the corporation to talk politely with the bus passengers. Stating that the bus conductors and drivers are the brand ambassadors of the corporation, he advised them to discharge their duties carefully at the field level. He also warned that any small mistake committed by them would damage the trust of the people on the corporation. He asked them to make efforts for taking the brand TSRTC into the people of the State.
Addressing a training program called “TSRTC April Challenge for Training” (TRACTS) held for the bus conductors from all the bus depots of the State through virtual mode from Bus Bhavan, Sajjanar told the conductors that they should work by considering the passengers as the centre of their activities. He asked them to not talk to the passengers in a rude manner and added that the conductors should greet the passengers with a smile. He said the conductors should take steps to attract new customers towards the buses of the corporation and added that they should always keep in mind that the passengers have alternative transport options while discharging their duties.
He said the bus conductors should have self-discipline. He told that a lot of changes had been brought in the corporation in the last one-and-a-half years. Stating that they have a lot of things to do, he said they started the TRACTS training program to learn new things.
He also said the people of the State were encouraging the public transport system a lot. Stating that the occupancy ratio of the corporation is 69% currently, he said they have a target of hitting 75% of Occupancy Portion. He said they would provide the training to all the employees of the corporation and added that all the employees of the company should work to achieve the target of turning the corporation into profit making entity. He told the gathering that they provided the training to 6,000 workers belonging to Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
The conductors told the MD that the training being provided to them was an excellent and added that it would help them bring out their inner skills out. They also said they would work hard to achieve an Occupancy Ratio (OR) of 75 per cent. ( Shoukat-PMI)
