The Uttar Pradesh government carried out a major administrative reshuffle late Monday night, transferring 34 IAS officers and appointing new District Magistrates in 14 districts, including Moradabad, Kanpur Nagar, Amethi, Etah, Bijnor and Hathras.
Lucknow, Sept 21 (Abbad Jaffri _PMI) A major administrative reshuffle was carried out in Uttar Pradesh late on Monday night. The state government transferred 34 IAS officers and assigned them new responsibilities. The list includes District Magistrates (DMs), Chief Development Officers (CDOs) of several districts, and Special Secretaries posted at the government level. As many as 14 districts, including Moradabad and Kanpur, have received new District Magistrates. The reshuffle has changed the responsibilities of several officers with the stated objective of strengthening the administrative system.
District Magistrates Transferred in 14 Districts
Anunniya Jha has been removed as District Magistrate of Hardoi and appointed the new District Magistrate of Moradabad. Rahul Pandey, who was serving as Special Secretary, State Tax, has been appointed District Magistrate of Hardoi.
M. Arunmouli has been shifted from Vice-Chairperson of the Agra Development Authority and appointed District Magistrate of Etah. Sanjay Chauhan has been transferred from Amethi to Kushinagar as District Magistrate, while Mahendra Singh Tanwar has been shifted from Kushinagar and appointed District Magistrate of Kanpur Nagar.

Anuj Malik has been shifted from Chief Executive Officer of the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority and appointed District Magistrate of Sant Kabir Nagar. Alok Kumar has been transferred from Sant Kabir Nagar to Pilibhit, while Gyanendra Singh has been transferred from Pilibhit to Ballia as District Magistrate.
Shashank Chaudhary, who was serving as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Invest UP/UPEDA, has been appointed District Magistrate of Amethi.
Divyanshu Patel has been transferred from Municipal Commissioner, Moradabad, and appointed District Magistrate of Baghpat.

Himanshu Kaushik has been shifted from Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation and appointed Municipal Commissioner of Moradabad Municipal Corporation.
Vijay Kumar Singh has been transferred from Chief Revenue Officer, Deoria, and appointed Chief Development Officer of Mirzapur. Santosh Bahadur Singh has been shifted from Additional District Magistrate (Administration), Saharanpur, and appointed Chief Development Officer of Mainpuri.
Vishal Kumar, who was serving as Chief Development Officer of Mirzapur, has been appointed CEO of the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority.
Vijay Kumar has been transferred from Special Secretary, Appointment and Personnel, and appointed Vice-Chairperson of the Agra Development Authority.
