Rachakonda Police set up Green Channel for emergency vehicles

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Police have set up a Green Channel to ensure a smooth passage for ambulances and other emergency service vehicles during the lockdown. Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat, who inspected police checkposts at various places in the commissionerate, said the lockdown should not affect emergency services, which was why a Green Channel was created.

He also instructed goods vehicle drivers to enter the city prior to the beginning of lockdown. The Commissioner later distributed sanitisers, snacks and water bottles to police personnel on duty.
