Red Fort Blast: PM Modi Reviews Situation with Amit Shah, Condoles Deaths in Delhi Explosion

New Delhi, Nov 10 (PMI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of eight people in a powerful explosion near the Red Fort Metro Station, which also left several others injured. The Prime Minister said he had reviewed the situation with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and assured that all assistance was being provided to those affected.

In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, “Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in the blast in Delhi earlier this evening. May the injured recover at the earliest. Those affected are being assisted by authorities. Reviewed the situation with Home Minister Amit Shah Ji and other officials.”

Following the blast, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that all investigating agencies were examining every possible angle and that a thorough investigation would be carried out.

According to officials, the explosion occurred in a parked car outside the metro station around 6:55 PM, triggering a massive fire that engulfed six cars, four motorcycles, and three e-rickshaws. The Delhi Fire Service dispatched seven fire tenders, which managed to douse the flames by 7:36 PM.

Teams from the Delhi Police Special Cell, National Security Guard (NSG), and National Investigation Agency (NIA) have begun an extensive investigation. Security has been tightened across the capital, with a high alert declared in Delhi and neighboring regions.  (pressmediaofindia.com)

However, today, recognizing the sentiments of the people and ensuring that the number of seats in the South does not diminish, the Modi government has introduced a formula involving a 50% increase”, he noted. Further, Kishan Reddy alleged that from the very beginning, it has been a calculated conspiracy by the Majlis party to ensure that the women are denied any form of political reservation. Statements made by Majlis party leaders specifically Akbaruddin Owaisi suggesting that the entry of the women into politics would give rise to new complications and problems, are officially recorded in the Assembly records. Fearing that a delimitation of constituencies in Hyderabad could jeopardize their own seats, the Majlis party is now conspiring in tandem with both the Congress and the BRS parties .
