Traffic Coordination Meeting Held Ahead of Ganesh Festival

Hyderabad Traffic Police and TGSRTC will maintain close coordination and make necessary route and bus-operation adjustments to ensure smooth traffic flow and uninterrupted public transport during Ganesh processions and immersion festivities.

Hyderabad, September 11 (Najaf Ali Shoukat-PMI): In view of the forthcoming Ganesh Festival and the expected increase in vehicular and pedestrian movement across Hyderabad, a traffic coordination meeting was held with senior officials of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) to review traffic management and public transport arrangements.

The meeting was chaired by D. Joel Davis, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad, and attended by DCPs, ACPs and Station House Officers of the Hyderabad Traffic Police.

According to the information shared in the press note, the meeting emphasised close coordination between the Hyderabad Traffic Police and TGSRTC to facilitate smooth traffic movement and minimise inconvenience to commuters during the festival.

Special attention was drawn to Ganesh procession and immersion routes, major traffic junctions and other sensitive locations where movement is expected to increase.

TGSRTC officials were advised to maintain continuous coordination with the Traffic Police, ensure efficient bus operations, modify or divert bus routes wherever required and extend cooperation during the immersion arrangements.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police and TGSRTC are expected to work in coordination to facilitate safe, convenient and uninterrupted public transport during the Ganesh Festival and immersion-related activities.(pressmediaofindia.com)
