Al Jazeera’s correspondent in Tehran says Iranian officials have denounced the “blatant violations” of the ceasefire by the United States, and there is “zero trust” after US attacks on southern Iran on Monday, which have shaken ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the conflict.
A senior spokesman for Iran’s armed forces has warned that a resumption of the US-Israel war on Iran will be met with a “much heavier and stronger” response and “will extend beyond regional borders”, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.
Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has confirmed that the country has taken the “first step” towards restoring full internet access after weeks of shutdown.
Israeli forces continued their military incursions across the occupied West Bank, killing a 45-year-old Palestinian man in Jenin, injuring a child in Hebron, and blocking key transit routes, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reports.
During a military operation in the Jenin refugee camp, Israeli forces shot dead Nasser Ali Kamel Al-Saadi, 45. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that it received the victim’s body from inside the camp and transported it to the Jenin Government Hospital.

Netanyahu warns of ‘more to come’ in Lebanon
As we reported earlier, Netanyahu has announced that Israeli forces are “deepening” their operations in Lebanon, where a “large” troop presence is on the “ground and seizing dominant terrain”.
During the period of the “ceasefire” in Lebanon that was brokered by the US in mid-April, Israel’s military killed hundreds of Hezbollah fighters, Netanyahu said in a lengthy statement on social media.
Large Israeli “forces are operating deep” inside Lebanese territory, Netanyahu said, “seizing and controlling areas” as well as “fortifying” what he described as a “security zone” inside Lebanon.
Netanyahu said he is “leading a massive national effort” to tackle Hezbollah’s drones, which have, in recent months, tested Israel’s sophisticated radar and interception systems.
Hezbollah has recently deployed first-person view (FPV) attack drones, guided by a physical fiber optic cable, which have proven lethal to Israeli forces.
“Against Hezbollah, we do not stop fighting for a moment, and there’s more to come until ensuring the full security of Israel’s citizens,” Netanyahu said. (Al Jazeera)
