Hyderabad, Oct. 16(PMI) District Election Officer R.V. Karnan on Thursday reviewed and inspected the ongoing poll preparations for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, scheduled for November 11.
As part of his visit, Karnan inspected the Distribution, Reception and Counting (DRC) Center at Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Stadium, along with several polling stations, including Daksha School, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School, and Government High School, Yousufguda.
He instructed officials to ensure that all Assured Minimum Facilities (AMFs) — such as ramps, toilets, drinking water, lighting, and proper signage — are available at every polling station. Special focus, he said, should be given to the convenience of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and senior citizens to ensure a smooth and inclusive voting process.
