“Amit Shah Vows to ‘Free Seemanchal from Infiltrators’, Says Only Bihar’s People Will Shape the State’s Future”

Patna, Nov 8  (Spl Coresspondent Ali Abbas Jaffri-  PMI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday asserted that the Seemanchal region of Bihar would be “freed from infiltrators,” vowing that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would return to power with the support of the people of Bihar.

Addressing a series of election rallies in Katihar, Purnia, and Supaul districts, Shah launched a sharp attack on the INDIA Alliance, accusing it of turning infiltrators into a vote bank. “The INDIA bloc cannot ensure Bihar’s progress as their politics is based on appeasement, not development,” he said.

Shah reiterated that it would be the people of Bihar—not infiltrators—who would decide the future of the state and contribute to building a developed Bihar under NDA’s leadership.

Addressing a series of public meetings in Seemanchal region’s Katihar, Purnia, and Supaul districts, Shah said the INDIA Alliance, which turns infiltrators into a vote bank, cannot bring prosperity to the state.

“These infiltrators snatch jobs meant for our youth, take a share of the rations meant for the poor, and endanger the security of the nation. Today, I say that we will not only drive out the infiltrators but also demolish all the encroachments they have made and free the land of Seemanchal from their occupation,” Shah said.

He asked the people of Seemanchal, “Tell me, should these infiltrators be removed from here or not?”

“Just recently, Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Yadav’s son went on a ‘Save the Infiltrators Yatra.’ They want Seemanchal to become a stronghold of infiltrators. But I declare today from this land of Seemanchal that we will drive out every single infiltrator from Bihar,” he added.

Shah said that in this election, there are two camps — on one side, a scattered ‘Thagbandhan’ (alliance of tricksters), and on the other, the NDA, united like the five Pandavas.

“Half of Bihar has already voted. In the first phase of polling, the parties of Lalu Yadav and Rahul Gandhi have been wiped out. The NDA is set to form the government in Bihar with more than 160 seats. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar is rapidly moving forward to become a developed state,” he said.

Recalling the lawlessness during the rule of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, Shah said that during that period, MLAs were murdered in broad daylight, and looting, murder, extortion, and kidnapping had become industries.

“But now, Nitish Kumar has ended the jungle raj. However, the jungle raj is trying to return in another form. That’s why every single vote of yours will stop the jungle raj from returning,” Shah said.

He also attacked Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD, saying, “They have given a ticket in Siwan to Shahabuddin’s son, Osama, and while giving the ticket, Lalu’s son raised the slogan ‘Shahabuddin Amar Rahe’ (Long live Shahabuddin). But there is no place left in the land of Bihar, in the land of Siwan, for any Osama or Shahabuddin.”(pressmediaofindia.com)

Opposition parties opposing women’s quota, delimitation for politics: Kishan Reddy New Delhi, April 17 (PMI): Union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Friday accused the opposition parties of resisting the Women’s Reservation and Delimitation Bills for political mileage. Talking to newsmen, he asserted that the Centre’s proposed formula ensures fairness to all states, rejecting claims of injustice to southern regions. Reddy alleged that parties fear losing dominance if new leadership emerges through reservations and constituency changes. He also criticized regional parties for spreading “false propaganda” and called for a public debate on the issue. “Speaking in the Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, and the Central Government delivered a very clear message that no state would suffer any injustice whatsoever. Unlike the manner in which the delimitation was conducted when the Congress party was in power, we are introducing a Bill that is favorable and acceptable to all, ensuring equitable justice for every state. Despite this, the opposition continues to engage in false propaganda within Parliament. Citing census data, they claimed that the population in the South was declining and that the region would be penalized for having successfully implemented family planning measures. Initially, their argument was that if the constituency delimitation were to be undertaken following the census, the South would inevitably face injustice. However, today, recognizing the sentiments of the people and ensuring that the number of seats in the South does not diminish, the Modi government has introduced a formula involving a 50% increase”, he noted. Further, Kishan Reddy alleged that from the very beginning, it has been a calculated conspiracy by the Majlis party to ensure that the women are denied any form of political reservation. Statements made by Majlis party leaders specifically Akbaruddin Owaisi suggesting that the entry of the women into politics would give rise to new complications and problems, are officially recorded in the Assembly records. Fearing that a delimitation of constituencies in Hyderabad could jeopardize their own seats, the Majlis party is now conspiring in tandem with both the Congress and the BRS parties . Having held consultations with these two parties, the Majlis party is actively campaigning against both the proposed delimitation and the provision of Women’s reservations”, he remarked. (PMI)
