A 24-year-old woman was taken into custody on charges of illegally confining a 17-year-old minor youth and raping him. The woman, whose name has been withheld, kidnapped the minor youth from Bengaluru and raped him.
Both the woman and the youth are from Kolar Gold Fields in Bengaluru. The police said that the woman was married and has two children. The police, who have since arrested the woman, sent her for medical examination. The youth too has been sent for medical examination. The police have also registered a case against the woman under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act.
