Olive Hospital conducts CPR training programme

Hyderabad’30 Jan: A Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) session for patient bystanders and the general public was conducted by Olive Hospital on Thursday. During the training, the hospital staff demonstrated basic techniques, which focuses on instant action needed to be taken, especially within one minute, which can turn out to be lifesaving critical in emergencies.

The session emphasised Hands-Only CPR, which is a simplified technique involving chest compressions recommended for untrained bystanders. Dr Kruthik Kulkarni, the Sr. Interventional Cardiologist at Olive Hospital, said, “The ability to do CPR is an essential life skill, just as important as being able to cook, swim, or use a smartphone.”
