UNITED NATIONS: The United Nations has said 15,850 people, including 791 children, have been killed in Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion of the neighboring country in February 2022.

The Ukrainian air force said Russia launched 675 attack drones and 56 missiles, mainly at Kyiv, adding its air defence units downed 652 of the drones and 41 missiles. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said 20 sites in the capital were damaged, including homes, a school, a veterinary clinic and other civilian infrastructure.
“As of now, we know that a total of 10 people have died in Kyiv as a result of the Russian massive attack,” he said in his evening address.
Seven bodies were pulled from the rubble of a single destroyed residential building three men, three women, and a young girl, police said.
Another 45 people were wounded.
