Hyderabad, Telangana TDP general secretary Nannuri Narsireddy has said Health Minister C Laxmareddy should be sacked from the cabinet for having accepted that he was doing real estate business.
“How can a minister do lucrative business when he took oath while being inducted in the cabinet”, he asked. Taking business decisions while continuing in the cabinet would affect the functioning of the minister concerned as real estate business is connected to various departments, Nannuri said. He also asked when a government doctor was prohibited from doing private practice, how can a minister do business with profit motive, he asked.
Nannuri demanded that the Chief Minister immediately drop Laxmareddy from the cabinet and order an inquiry into his real estate business deals.
