Bundi’1 July 2022:A maulanaMufti Nadeem in Rajasthan’s Bundi district was arrested on Friday afternoon for delivering a provocative speech he gave about Nupur Sharma, the suspended BJP spokesperson.
The maulana gave the speech inside the Bundi District Collectorate last month.
Many social organisations had staged protests demanding the Maulana’s arrest accusing him of trying to disrupt social harmony.
He was finally apprehended by the local police from the Mira Gate area and produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate.
The maulana has been sent to 14 days judicial custody.
