Hyderabad, May 3 (PMI): Minister Sridhar Babu has alleged that the previous BRS government had destroyed all the sectors and the economy of Telangana was fragmented during the last ten years.
Addressing the programme after releasing Congress party’s Telangana National Manifesto at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, the Minister said that within 100 days of the formation of the Congress government, they had set everything in order and were providing the best governance to the people.
He said that during the last ten years, BJP and BRS did nothing for Telangana and both parties didn’t work as per the aspirations of the people.
“Once the Congress party comes to power at the Centre, the government will fulfill all the promises mentioned in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. Similarly, it will set up the office of NITI Aayog in Hyderabad. The institutions like IARI, ICMR, National Aviation University, Central Medical Research Institute will be brought to Telangana. Apart from this, the Congress government will give a national status to the Medaram fair and set up
a bench of the Supreme Court in Hyderabad. In addition to this, the Congress government will resume an ITIR project and will bring 5 villages, merged into Andhra Pradesh at the time of bifurcation, back to the Telangana State,” Sridhar Babu disclosed. (PMI)
