Siddipet, : Telangana joint action committee (JAC) chairman Prof Kodandram was arrested in the district today. Kodandram went to meet villagers of Bhalapuram village who lost their lands under Kondapochamma reservoir. The reservoir is being built in Kondapochamma of Marruk mandal.
He visited the village to meet the victims who lost their lands. When Kodandram was entering in the house of a victim, police whisked him away.
Besides Kodandram, high court lwyer Rachanareddy was also arrested and shifted to a police station.
