CM interfering in Singareni union elections: BJP

Hyderabad: Just three days ahead of Singareni Collieries Workers Union elections, BJP floor leader in Telangana Assembly G Kishan Reddy today wanted to know what Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao did for welfare of Singareni workers during the last three years.

Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister will not do anything for the welfare of coal mine workers, he just talks. He also accused TRS leaders of creating panic where elections will be held. “It is for the first time in the country that a Chief Minister was involving himself in the mine workers union elections, Kishan Reddy said and alleged that official machinery was being misused in this election. KCR was trying to win this election by the hook or the crook and he was encouraging defections”, the BJP leader said.

Kishan Reddy also alleged that KCR was repeating his old promises made to Singareni workers earlier.
