Charminar Zone Police Crack Down on Milad Procession Rule-Breakers:

Hyderabad, Sept 2 (PMI) Charminar Zone Police have identified 57 youths who flouted law and order norms during the recent Milad-un-Nabi procession — despite clear guidelines from religious leaders, the Central Milad Committee, and police. Drone footage and CCTVs captured dangerous bike stunts, modified high-decibel silencers, unauthorized DJ setups, and misbehavior with on-duty officers.

DCP Kiran Khare IPS, along with Charminar zone Addl DCP, ACPs and SHOs, held a counseling session today with the identified youths, delivering a firm message:
“Police stand with every citizen celebrating every festival — Hindu or Muslim — peacefully and within the law. Every person must therefore act responsibly. But no one gets a pass to break the law in the name of religious freedom.”

He appealed directly to parents: watch your children’s company, their social media, their habits — don’t let them drift toward drugs or ganja. (pressmediaofindia.com)

Officials from various departments briefed the organisers about their respective arrangements and preparedness. Representatives of the Ganesh Utsav Committee and other major idol committees raised their concerns and sought clarifications, which were addressed by the officials. The meeting focused on strengthening inter-departmental coordination and ensuring that the Ganesh festival and immersion process is conducted peacefully, safely and without inconvenience to the public.
