Hyderabad(Shoukat –PMI): National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) Director Amit Garg visited the Telangana DGP Office and reviewed the implementation of the National Criminal Justice System in the state, along with related portals and platforms, including ICJS (Interoperable Criminal Justice System), Nyaya Shruti and Nyaya Sanhita.
During the meeting, discussions were held on coordination among various systems, the role of key stakeholder agencies including the judiciary, prisons, prosecution and forensic departments, budget-related matters, assistance required from Delhi, and Telangana’s transition to the advanced CCTNS 2.0 platform.
Telangana DGP C.V. Anand said the state would strive to improve its current 34th rank and achieve better rankings in the coming days. He said the department was conducting regular reviews with officials and taking steps to accelerate implementation and improve performance. (pressmediaofindia.com)
