Hyderabad’s April 15 (PMI) A tragic road accident occurred on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Hyderabad, where a father and his two-and-a-half-year-old son died on the spot after their car collided with a water tanker used for tree watering.
According to details, K. Veda Prakash Reddy (37), a software engineer working in Bengaluru and a native of Hanamkonda, had recently come to his hometown for a festival. He was returning to Bengaluru with his family, including his wife Himabindu, son Arjun (2.5 years), and relatives Durga Prasad and Sreeja.
The family entered the ORR near Ghatkesar, and at Pedda Amberpet, their car hit a tanker engaged in watering roadside trees. The impact severely damaged the front portion of the vehicle.
Veda Prakash Reddy and his son Arjun died on the spot, while three others sustained serious injuries. They were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, with doctors stating that two of them remain in critical condition.
