Notorious House Burglar Arrested in Peddapalli

Peddapalli Agust 8 (PMI) Police arrested a notorious house burglar from Jagtial for allegedly committing a series of burglaries in Manthani town and other parts of Peddapalli district.

Godavarikhani ACP M. Ramesh said that Vanam Ramu, a resident of Tharakarama Nagar in Jagtial, was apprehended on Saturday while he was moving suspiciously during night patrols in Manthani.

During interrogation, Ramu reportedly confessed to committing house burglaries at regular intervals to meet his daily needs. He admitted to targeting locked houses and stealing valuables from several residences in different parts of the district.

According to police, Ramu pledged the stolen gold ornaments and used the money for lending purposes and personal luxuries.

ACP Ramesh appreciated Manthani Inspector B. Swamy, Ramagiri SI T. Srinivas, Head Constable Bhargav, and Constables D. Ramesh, V. Abhishek and B. Raj Kumar for their prompt action in apprehending the accused.(pressmediaofindia,com)
