In the history of the 21st century, India will have a golden chapter, unity is our strength…”, PM Modi’s speech at the National Solidarity Day program

PM  said that today the world is seeing how India is solving its problems with strength. Today the world is watching how India is united and overcoming decades old challenges, so we have to maintain our unity at this crucial time.

Kevadia’ Oct 31 (PMI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the National Unity Day program in Gujarat’s Kevadia on Thursday said that this time the National Unity Day has brought a wonderful consensus. Today on one hand we are celebrating the festival of unity and on the other hand it is also the holy festival of Diwali.

The Prime Minister further said that Diwali fills the entire country with light, connecting it through lights. The festival of Diwali also connects the country to the world. It is being celebrated as a national festival in many countries. I wish a very Happy Diwali to all the Indians living in the country and the world, well wishers of India.

He said that this time Unity Day is special for another reason. Sardar Patel’s 150th birth anniversary starts today. The country will be celebrating Sardar Patel’s 150th birth anniversary for the next two years. It is a compatriot’s tribute to his extraordinary contribution to India. This biennial celebration will strengthen our commitment to ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshath Bharat’. This opportunity will teach us that even seemingly impossible tasks can be made possible. When India got independence, there were some people in the world who predicted the disintegration of India. He did not expect that a single India would be re-created by uniting hundreds of princely states. But Sardar did it. This was possible because Sardar Sahib was realistic in behavior, true in commitment, philanthropic in action and nationalist in purpose.

He said that the spirit of bigotry in the policies and intentions of the previous governments was also weakening the unity of the country. In the last 10 years, the new model of good governance in the country has eliminated all scope for discrimination. We have chosen the path of ‘Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas’. Today, efforts are being made to provide water without discrimination under Har Ghar Jal Scheme. Today everyone gets PM Kisan Saman Nidhi. PM Avas home today. Today the benefits of Ayushman Yojana are available without any discrimination. With this behavior of the government, the discontent spread over many decades in the society and the people has been removed. Because of this, people’s trust in the government has increased, trust in the country’s system has increased. This union of progress and conviction inspires the creation of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’.

He said that today the world is seeing how India is solving its problems with strength. Today the world is watching how India is united and overcoming decades old challenges, so we have to maintain our unity at this crucial time.(Pressmediaofindia.com)
