Hyderabad, July 29 (PMI): A coordination meeting was held on Wednesday under the supervision of Sri Tafseer Iqbal, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, South Range, and Sri Kiran Khare, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Charminar Zone, regarding the upcoming Bonalu festivities and Ghatam Procession.
The meeting was attended by GHMC Charminar Zonal Commissioner Sri K. Satyanarayana, officials from various government departments, representatives of the Ummadi Devalaya Committee, temple committee members and other stakeholders associated with the celebrations.
Detailed discussions were held on law and order, traffic regulation, security arrangements, crowd management, sanitation, fire safety, medical facilities, uninterrupted power supply, drinking water and other civic amenities.
Police officials stressed the need for close coordination among all departments and appealed to organisers, temple committees and devotees to extend their cooperation in maintaining peace, harmony and public safety during the festivities.
GHMC officials assured full support in providing sanitation, civic infrastructure and other municipal services throughout the festival period.
All participating departments assured their complete cooperation and committed to making the Bonalu celebrations and Ghatam Procession safe, peaceful and successful through coordinated efforts.
The authorities emphasised that all necessary arrangements would be put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the festivities and the safety and convenience of devotees and the general public.
