Hyderabad, April 25 (PMI): YSR Telangana Party president YS Sharmila was granted conditional bail by the Nampally Court here on Tuesday.
The Magistrate after hearing the counsels on both sides granted bail and was asked to submit two sureties each of Rs 30,000 and take permission from the court before going abroad.
Sharmila was arrested on Monday for assaulting a police official in Jubilee Hills while attempting to attend a protest. Later, she was produced in the court and placed in judicial remand. She was subsequently transferred to the Chanchalguda women’s prison in the city. (PMI)
