VH urges TRS, Congress men to raise Hajipur rape victims’ issue in Assembly

Hyderabad, Sept.21 (PMI): Former MP and senior Congress leader V. Hanumanth Rao on Saturday urged the ruling TRS and Opposition Congress leaders to take up the issue of the Hajipur rape victims in the ongoing budget session in the Assembly.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Hanumanth Rao said there was an urgent need to do justice to family members of the victims as they belonged to weaker sections. Alleging that there was no response from Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and his minister son K Tarakarama Rao on the issue so far, he demanded that the State government take up discussion on the issue and do justice to the family members of the victims.
