Three Held with 45 Kg of Marijuana at Lingampalli Railway Station

Hyderabad’Oct 08(Crime Bureau-PMI) Chandanagar Police arrested three individuals, including two women, at

Lingampalli Railway Station on Wednesday for allegedly transporting a large quantity of marijuana.

Based on a tip-off, the police intercepted the suspects on Platform No. 1 and found them in possession of 45 kilograms of marijuana. The trio was reportedly smuggling the contraband from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai.

All three have been taken into custody for questioning. Authorities confirmed that the seized substance is marijuana and stated that a detailed investigation is currently underway. The accused will be produced before the court and are expected to be remanded to judicial custody.(pressmediaofindia.com)
