Hyderabad; April 10 ( PMI ): Meticulous planning, supervision by senior officers of HCP, and the perfect execution of commands by the field personnel ensured that the Sri Ramanavami Shoba Yatra procession ended on a peaceful note here on Sunday.
Thanks to the technology which helped in live monitoring of the procession, crowd movement, and traffic flow. City police commissioner Mr.CV Anand chaired the joint command control center in his office wherein officials of RTC, R&B, GHMC, EMRI, Fire, and Electricity were present. He monitored the live drone footage, CCTV feeds, and radio communications and gave instructions to the field officers. Senior officers descended to the field and ensured that the procession moved on.
The main procession started at Seetarambagh around 1:30 PM and reached Hanuman Vyayamasala. En route, thousands of devotees joined the procession.
The scorching summer heat couldn’t let down the spirit of 7000 policemen who were deployed for Bando bust in sensitive areas and procession route.
“The procession was completed peacefully with the cooperation of organizers, other govt departments, devotees, and the general public.” Said CP Anand. ( PMI )
