Government has set up 40 new police stations within the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It has issued orders to this effect on Saturday

Hyderabad ‘May 7 ‘(Najaf Ali Shoukat-PMI) Government of Telangana has set up 40 new police stations in the Hyderabad-Secunderabad twin cities. It has issued orders to this effect on Saturday. Domalaguda, Secretariat, Khairatabad, Warasiguda, Bandlaguda, IS Sadan, Gudi Malkapur, Filmnagar, Maduranagar, Masab Tank, Borabanda, Mokilla, Allapur, Suraram, Kollur, Jinomvalley Police Stations are newly established.

Also, 11 law and order, 13 traffic police stations and two task force zones have been established Six specialized wings including 2 Commissioner’s Task Force, 5 Women Safety Wing, IT cell 1, Hyderabad Narcotics-1, Cyber Crimes-1, and Secretariat Security -1 unit have been created.. Medchal and Rajendranagar have been decided as new task force zones. Along with that, six new DCP zones have been established. 12 Divisions in Hyderabad, three DCP Zones in Cyberabad and one female police station for each zone has been issued. A cybercrime and narcotics wing has also been set up in each area.

Three new zones are:

South East Zone, South West zone, Women Safety Wing.

The new sub-divisions:
Gandhinagar, Chilaklguda, Osmania University, Trimulgherry, Chandrayanagutta, Saidabad, Golconda, Kulsumpura, Chatrinaka, Jubilee Hills, and SR Nagar.

New police stations created are:

Domalguda, Lake Police Station, Khairatabad, Warasigida, Tadbund, Bandlaguda, IS Sadan, Tolichowki, Gudi Malkapur, Masab Tank, Filmnagar, Rahmathnagar, Borabanda, Women Police stations in Central, East, West, South East and South West Zones.

New traffic police stations:

In addition to these, the Government also created 13 new traffic police stations — Marredpally, Bowenpally, Jubilee Hills, SR Nagar, Amberpet, Nallakunta, Narayanaguda, Chilkalguda, Bahadurpura, Santosh Nagar, Chandrayanagutta, Tolichowki, and Langer House.(PMI)
