Hyderabad: The take-off of Pune-bound Alliance Air flight from Hyderabad got delayed due to a swarm of bees. Yes, you heard right. The bees surrounded the the fuselage of the flight and rested on the windscreen of the cockpit forcing the pilot to stay grounded. The flight was supposed to take off at 6.25 am but got delayed till 7.22 am.The issue was informed to the Air Traffic Control. who advised them to spray a repellent to get rid of the bees. Air India spokesperson Dhanajay Kumar said that safety of the passengers is their first priority. Meanwhile, Directorate General of Civil Aviation official said that they would look into the matter.
