Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, issued P.D. Orders
against Syed Aslam alias Aslam, a “Snatcher” of Saidabad Police Station on
December 19.
Syed Aslam, 28, unemployed, native of Wahed Nagar, Old Malakpet, committed
offences of snatchings, robbery, two-wheelers theft and attempt to murder under
the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate limits and Vikarabad District in an
organized manner. He was creating panic and disturbing peace in the society.
The Saidabad police arrested him on October 29 and charged him under Sections
307, 353 r/w 34 IPC @ Sec 25(1)(b) of Indian Arms Act 1959 of Saidabad PS and
remanded to judicial custody. The Preventive Detention order was executed on
him on December 20 and was lodged in Chanchalguda Central Jail. (PMI)
