Hyderabad, May 25 (PMI): Union Minister G Kishan Reddy today said the Narendra Modi government had crushed terrorism, ISI with an iron fist. He said there were no Pakistani terrorist attacks in the country now.
Addressing a gathering of the party workers at BJP working committee meetings of Hyderabad Central and Mahankali Secunderabad districts, Kishan Reddy said a workshop on ‘Mahajan Sampark Abhiyan’ would be held across the country from May 30 to June 30. He said there was a time when it was difficult to hoist the national flag in Sri Nagar and added that the national flags were hoisted across Srinagar during the recent G20 summit meetings held in the city.
“Once upon a time, when police and soldiers were seen, stones were pelted in Jammu & Kashmir. Now the people there are brave enough to see the police and the soldiers. Some countries, including China, have objected to the G20 summit being held in Srinagar. But PM Modi has spoken to all the countries. Out of 28 delegates, all except China came and were thrilled to see Srinagar,” he added.
He said the security personnel, who came with the international delegates, were scared from the beginning and added that he was happy to see the peaceful law and order situation in Srinagar now while noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was responsible for the unprecedented increase in tourists to Jammu and Kashmir.
Stating that there have been no film shootings in Kashmir for decades, he said after the abrogation of Article 370, more than 300 film shootings took place in Srinagar and added that things had completely changed now.
He said the G20 delegates expressed happiness when the team of RRR, which brought international fame to India, also attended the G20 summit in Srinagar. Stating that there was a time when bomb blasts took place in Hyderabad killing the innocent people, he said there were no Pakistani terror attacks anywhere in the country. Adding that two incidents happened during the Modi regime, he said the soldiers of the country had carried out surgical strikes and went into Pakistani territory eliminating the perpetrators and creating a new history.
He alleged that there was a Rs 10 lakh crore scam during the previous Congress rule and added that scam was pointed out by the CAG and Supreme Court and not by them. He claimed that in the last nine years, not a single rupee of corruption had been done under Modi’s rule. He said the BJP government was credited with providing free rice for the last few months.
Targeting CM KCR, he alleged that the CM had launched BRS party to distribute ill-gotten money to politicians across the country. He said Unemployment allowance was not offered and the farmers loans had not been waived off by KCR so far. Stating that all the party workers should be brave and every BJP worker should make the Jansampark Abhiyan Yatra a success ahead of the assembly elections. He asked the workers to visit every household and explain to the people about the development being done by the BJP government. (PMI)
