Hyderabad: Medchal-Malkajgiri District Education Officer (DEO) A Usharani was suspended following allegations that she had demanded bribe from a contractor. She demanded money for passing bills of ‘Urban Residential Hostel’. She had also misplaced a file related to the matter, alleged the contractor.Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiam Srihari ordered a probe into the matter. Based on the directions issued by Srihari, Commissioner and director of school education G Kishan issued suspension orders to Usharani.
