A Raj Bhavan communique said Vijayalakshmi breathed her last in sleep. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao made a visit to the Raj Bhavan and condoled the demise. KCR placed a wreath on the body and offered tributes. He also consoled the Governor and his family members. Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, Assembly Speaker S Madusudana Chary, Council Chairman Swamy Goud, Minister G Jagadish Reddy, DGP Anurag Sharma, leaders and officials also condoled the death of Vijayalakshmi.
