Bathukamma festival symbolises the cultural spirit of Telangana. Bathukamma is characterized by gathering of flowers and different unique floral arrangements. Flowers like gunuka poolu, tangedu pooluand other flowers like banti, chamanti, nandivardhanam are arranged in beautiful patterns. The worship of Goddess for prosperity, good health and for fulfillment of desires is unique because of its association with flowers.
