Gold biscuits worth Rs 29 lakh seized from passenger at Shamshabad Airport

Hyderabad : The Customs officials today seized about one kg of gold from a passenger at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. The seizure was made during the early morning raids.

According to the sources, a passenger from Dubai, carrying gold biscuits, was intercepted by the eagle-eyed Customs officials and during the searches and recovered 932 grams of gold worth Rs 29.12 lakh from his possession. The Customs officials took the passenger into their custody.
