Hyderabad, Nampally criminal court today granted conditional bail to
Gazal Singer Srinivas, who was arrested on charges of sexual harassment. The court also granted anticipatory bail to his accomplice Parvathi, who is A-2 in the case.
Srinivas was arrested by Punjagutta police following a complaint of sexual harassment by an employee of a private radio. Punjagutta police objected to the bail petition of Gazal Srinivas contending that he might tamper with the evidence if he was granted bail. When the court asked the police as to why Parvathi was not arrested, police said she was absconding.
After hearing both sides, the court granted bails to the accused and directed them to appear before Punjagutta police on every Wednesday and Sunday.
