Fire Safety Infrastructure to Get Major Boost in Panyam Constituency

Kurnool, May 13 (PMI) In a significant step towards enhancing emergency response services in the region, authorities have identified land for the construction of a new fire station at Orvakal mandal headquarters in the Panyam Assembly constituency.

Joint Collector Noorul Qamar on Tuesday inspected the proposed site along with officials from the Fire Services and Revenue departments. During the visit, the team assessed the suitability of the land, road connectivity, transport accessibility, and the availability of government land required for the project.

Addressing officials during the inspection, the Joint Collector stated that nearly 60 cents of land has been earmarked for the establishment of the fire station. He reviewed the technical feasibility of the proposed site and directed concerned departments to expedite all procedures related to the project without delay.

He stressed the need for close coordination among various departments to ensure the early completion of the land allocation and establishment process. The proposed fire station is expected to significantly strengthen fire safety services and improve emergency preparedness in Orvakal and nearby areas.

Several officials participated in the inspection programme, including In-charge District Fire Officer Balaraju, Assistant District Fire Officer Bajari, Deputy Tahsildar M. Satish, and Mandal Surveyor Shankar Manikyam.

Officials also discussed preliminary arrangements and assured that the proposal would be processed swiftly to facilitate the establishment of the much-needed fire station in the mandal. (pressmediaofindia.com)
