Nalgonda, Sept.25 (PMI): Elections would be conducted for sarpanches of four Grama pachayats and their 18 ward members, which were vacant in the district.
The State Election Commission has issued orders for finalization of the voters’ lists of these four grama panchayats. The final voters list would be released on September 30. Jojigudem in Chandur mandal, Golapally in Chintapally mondal, Khudabhakhipally in Marriguda mandal and Godumadaka in Thitumalagiri (Sagar) would go for panchayat elections.
In addition to this, elections would be conducted for 18 ward member posts in 13 grama panchayats, which fell vacant due to various reason. There was Possibility for State Election Commission issuing notification for election to these vacant posts.
