Hyderabad, LB Nagar DCP Venkateshwara Rao has stated that severe action will be initiated against those moving having drunk after 1 am on December 31 night.
The DCP said vehicular movement on Outer Ring Road (ORR) was prohibited from Sunday night 11 pmMonday morning 5am. Three check-posts will be set up in every police station limits. Surveillance teams will be active on movement of old criminals on Sunday. He also made it clear that nobody would be spared if were caught while drunk driving. Cases also will be filed against bars, wine shops and pubs if kept opened after Sunday midnight, he said, adding that the police didn’t give permission to DJs in LB Nagar Zone.
