Hyderabad, March 31 : Congress Party MLC T. Jeevan Reddy on Tuesday urged the chief minister of the state KCR to exempt police, Health Department employees and sanitation workers from the deferment or monthly salaries. He told the CM that none of the States of the country had deducted the salaries of these three departments as they are discharging their duties ever since the lockdown was declared in the State.
Addressing media persons, he asked the CM if he had held discussions with the government employees and teachers on the issue. Referring to the decision of the state government to also cut the pension being paid to the pensioners of the state, he said that it was not good to make the Pensioners suffer in the name of the lockdown. He urged the CM to review his decision of the effecting cuts in the salaries of the employees.
