Hyderabad, Jan.3 (PMI): DGP M. Mahender Reddy on Friday declared 2020 as the Year of Women Protection. He also said the Police department would take part in Chief Minister KCR’s pet project “each one teach one”.
Addressing the media, the DGP said one police unit would educate 20 illiterates in the district. He also said the program was a noble one and aimed at increasing percentage of literates in the State and achieve 100 percent literacy levels. He also urged the police personnel to create awareness among the people about their rights and responsibilities.
