Hyderabad’Dec 13’2022(PMI) Cyberabad Police Commissioner Shri Stephen Raveendra, IPS., requested Padma Shri Awardee Sunitha Krishnan to make a presentation on the proposed Sex Offenders Registry. Ms Krishnan gave a broad overview on the proposed registry, highlighting on the functions and pre requisites for the same. She also gave an insight on the way such sex offenders registry is functioning globally in other countries. This is in continuation to the commitment by the Hon’ble Minister Shri KTR Gaaru to consider such a registry in the State of Telangana State.
