CYBERABAD POLICE, AIG HOSPITALS ORGANIZE SPINE HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM

Hyderabad, Oct. 25 (PMI): The Cyberabad Police, in collaboration with AIG Hospitals – Institute of Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, organized a health awareness session on *“Common Spine Issues and Their Management  at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate Auditorium on Saturday.

Dr. Srinivas Thati, Director and Head, and Dr. Kalyan Kumar Varma, Consultant Ortho-Spine Surgeon at AIG Hospitals, emphasized the importance of maintaining spinal health through posture correction, regular physical activity, and preventive care to avoid long-term orthopedic problems. Around 170 police personnel attended the session, which also included on-site Bone Mineral Density (BMD) tests aimed at promoting awareness of bone health and preventing osteoporosis.

This initiative, part of the Cyberabad Police’s ongoing welfare programs, underscores its commitment to the health, fitness, and overall well-being of its personnel. (PMI).
