“Police personnel face continuous stress and heavy workloads in the course of their duties, so special attention must be paid to their health. Every police employee should undergo regular health check-ups.”
Hyderabad, August 31 (Shoukat-PMI): Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh on Monday inspected a free medical camp being organised at the CAR Headquarters CTC in Cyberabad by the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) in association with the Grace Cancer Foundation.
During his visit, Dr. Ramesh personally underwent eye and blood pressure examinations and reviewed the medical services being provided to police personnel, their family members and the public. He interacted with the doctors and enquired about the various health screenings and medical facilities available at the camp.
The camp offers free basic health check-ups, including height, weight, BMI, ECG, eye and dental examinations. Special eye screening is also being conducted for children, while physiotherapy services are available for those requiring them.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner said police personnel face continuous stress and heavy workloads in the course of their duties and therefore need to pay special attention to their health. He advised every police employee to undergo regular health check-ups.
Dr. Ramesh instructed unit medical officers to record the health details of police personnel in the ‘Aarogya Suraksha’ health profile and upload them to the HRMS. He said maintaining employees’ health records digitally would enable doctors to easily access their medical history when required and facilitate better healthcare services in the future
The Commissioner also urged police personnel, their families and members of the public to make use of the camp and get their health conditions assessed at an early stage.
The free medical camp will continue from August 31 to September 5, daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the SCSC campus.
Administrative DCP Annapurna, SCSC CEO Naveed, Headquarters Additional DCP Shameer, CTC doctors Sukumar and Saritha, along with other police officials, personnel and members of the medical team, attended the programme (pressmediaofindia.com)
