Hyderabad, The Congress leaders have boycotted Governor ESL Narasimhan’s ‘At Home’ program held at Raj Bhavan here on Friday on the occasion of 69th Republic Day alleging that the governor, who supposed to protect the constitution, was ridiculing the constitution. It was tradition that Governor organises ‘At Home’ every year on August 15 and January 26 and public representatives of two Telugu states attend the program.
It may be mentioned here that the opposition parties’ leaders including main opposition party Congress leaders targeted governor and showered criticism on governor, who praised the state government while visiting Kaleswaram project site recently. In this context, the Congress leaders decided to boycott governor’s ‘At Home’ program.
