Hyderabad, Jan.29 (PMI): BJP MLA from the city T. Raja Singh was convicted in a criminal case filed against following his controversial and provocative remarks against the beef festival held at Osmania University five year back.
A criminal court from Nampally convicted Singh for one year of imprisonment. In its verdict, the court has said that Singh had indeed made the controversial and provocative remarks on the beef festival and pronounced him guilty of the offence. The court later released Singh on bail and given one month time to file an appeal before the High Court. (PMI)
