Hyderabad, Sept 24 (Shoukat -PMI): A coordination meeting on arrangements for the upcoming Ganesh idol immersion under “Ganesh Suraksha Sankalp–2026” was held through video conference under the coordination of Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police B. Sumathi, IPS, and Malkajgiri Municipal Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy.
The meeting was attended by all DCPs, SHOs, municipal officials, JCs, DCs, representatives of various departments and other stakeholders, along with representatives of Ganesh Utsav committees.
Officials reviewed key arrangements, including barricading, pothole repairs, street lighting, CCTV surveillance, traffic and crowd management, sanitation and other public-safety measures.
The officials stressed the need for close coordination among all departments and stakeholders to ensure that the immersion process is conducted peacefully, safely and in an organised manner.
