Hyderabad : Sixteen flights, including five international flights, bound to Mumbai were diverted to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad following the closure of the primary runaway at the Mumbai International Airport on Tuesday night.
The runway at the Mumbai airport was closed after a domestic flight overshot the runaway and landed in mud. The airlines made alternative arrangements and provided accommodation to passengers.
