Hyderabad, April 3 (PMI): Today afternoon, Jagan Mohan, Dy Director of Town & Country Planning, was caught by ACB, City Range Unit-1 at his office chamber when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant V. Jithender Reddy of Saraswathi Nagar, Chinthalkunta check-post, LB Nagar to issue building construction permission.
The bribe amount was recovered from the possession of the accused at his instance. Left hand fingers of the accused and contact portion i.e. right side first drawer of accused’s office table yielded positive result in chemical test.
The accused Jagan Mohan was arrested and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, at Nampally. (Pressmediaofindia.com)
