Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao to Flag Off Rally from Jal Vihar
Hyderabad, October 10 (Haji Ismail-PMI): On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, the SHE POWER Foundation will organise a Women’s Safety Bike Rally in Hyderabad on October 11. Women bikers from different parts of India, along with participants from areas near neighbouring countries, are expected to join the rally.
Women riders from Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and other parts of the country are travelling to Hyderabad to participate in the initiative. Participants from areas along the Nepal and Bhutan borders are also joining the campaign.
Prominent women motorcycling communities, including Bike Rani, SheMoto and other biker associations, will take part in the rally. Eight women police bikers from Telangana Police will also participate in the event.
The joint participation of women police riders and civilian women bikers will symbolise a collective commitment to women’s safety and empowerment. Women from different walks of life will ride together to promote public awareness about the importance of ensuring a safer environment for women and girls.
The rally is being supported by the Telangana Tourism Department. State Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao will flag off the rally from Jal Vihar in Hyderabad. (pressmediaofindia.com)
